Vietnam: Buyers turn to Canada as US Cherry Season Ends

The cherry export season in the US is ending soon. Due to the lack of supply, Vietnamese importers are seeking for supply in an alternative market, such as Canada. However, the Vietnamese market prefers US cherries because US cherries are more firm and sweet than Canadian cherries. Canadian cherry varieties that sell well in the Vietnamese market are Regina, Skeena, with brands such as Sandher, and Jealous fruit.
