Fresh Grape Exports from Turkey increased 36% until Oct 2021

Turkey's fresh table grape exports increased 36% from USD 118 million to USD 160 million during the first 10 months in 2021. While Turkey exported USD 158 million of fresh grapes in 2020, it surpassed the export figure of 2020 until October 2021.

Sultani seedless fresh grape exports increased by 54% from USD 81 million to USD 125 million during January-October 2021 compared to the corresponding period of 2020. Sultani grapes accounted for 78% of fresh grape exports. While the Russian Federation is by far the first country in the export of sultani seedless fresh grapes with an export value of USD 74 million, mainly desined for Ukraine which imported USD 17.7 million of sultani seedless fresh grapes. These countries were followed by Belarus with export value of USD 7.3 million Germany with USD 7.1 million.

Turkey exported sultana seedless fresh grapes to 46 countries in the 10-month period of 2021. Superior grape, which is preferred by diabetes patients due to its low sugar content reached an export level of USD 6,579K, while Red Globe grape which has been shining in recent years, provided a foreign exchange return of USD 5.6 million.
