As the cases of the dengue fever in the West Java province is still as high as last month, the demand for beetroot by the local consumers has started to increase from 800 KG to 1 MT. The first surge of dengue fever in this province first occurred in late June and has continued today. Making beetroot a highly sought after commodity by the in-treatment patient and patient on recovery to be used to restore the red-blood-cell level.
