The price of Special grade pineapple increases due to the rise in temperature

Due to the rise of temperature from 30°C to 32°C in Kerala, the demand for ripened pineapple increased. This increase led pineapple farmers to leave the Special Grade(Dark Green) and light green pineapples uncut. Such procedures will increase the price of Special Grade pineapple. For example, Farm Gate's price of USD 0.28 per Kg has risen to USD 0.33 per kg in a week. Farmers are expecting the prices to rise to USD 0.4 per kg.
