Indonesian desiccated coconut prices reached USD 2400/MT mid-December, the highest report price in the fourth quarter of 2020. This average price is also USD 100/MT higher than its price in the previous two weeks at USD 2300/MT.
The increasing prices can be attributed to high demand and the fact that the majority of exporters are now closing 2020 orders. During the end of December with Christmas and New Years holidays approaching, most products will enter a closedown period.
