In W49, while the market still had 16% more spinach YoY, the quantity decreased by 5% from W48. The price in W49 stood between USD 2.30-2.94/kg, which was an increase from W48 where the price stood between USD 2.34-2.48/kg in W48. The increasing spinach prices in Tokyo are expected to last until January 2023.
