Increasing the market share of New Zealand and Chile Kiwi in Indian market

After the import of Iranian Kiwi has been suspended due to the presence of quarantine pest Aspidiotus netil and non-quarantine pest Aonidiella aurantii, the prices of other imported Kiwi are expected to increase in the coming week, from 14th Dec 2021 to 21st Dec 2021 in India. Chilean Kiwi which was traded at USD 0.18 per piece on 12th Dec 2021 in Bangalore Market, was sold at USD 0.29 per piece on 14th Dec 2021. The New Zealand Kiwi (Zesperi Brand) usually start trading at USD 0.34 per piece for its green variety in the season and the price is expected to increase by USD 0.1. There is a high potential for Greece and Brazil Kiwi to capture the Indian Market.
