Vietnam's Star Anise Exports Increased by 7.4% MoM in Jul-24

According to the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA), Vietnam exported 1.6 thousand tons of star anise in Jul-24, generating USD 7.8 million in export value, marking a 7.4% month-on-month (MoM) increase. Over the first seven months of 2024, India emerged as the primary export market for Vietnamese star anise, accounting for 63% of exports, with 5.4 thousand tons, reflecting a 7.0% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
