India is the highest exporter of dried red chilis. The season will start in January 2023, with a good-quality crop. Forecasts indicate a high demand for Indian red Chilis in China, South Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka. The variety is Teja S17, and India exports it with and without stem, seeds, and powder. Other varieties exported will be S4, S9, S27, and more. If there's demand for dried red chili in November 2022, the 2022 crop is still available for export.
