Indian Tomato prices on a rise due to constant rains

Due to heavy rains in South India, the tomato price is increasing drastically, as per the field rate in Bangalore on 9th Nov 2021, for premium quality tomatoes, price went up to USD 0.82 per kg. And it is expected to move up due to the fact that excessive rain resulted in crop failure.
