India's demand for Canadian red lentils has been significantly reduced as a result of recent large-scale purchases from Australia that have oversupplied the market and decreased demand. Another factor is the pricing of Australian red lentils, which are more affordable than Canadian red lentils. For July-August shipments, Australian-origin lentils were offered at USD 680-690/MT CFR Indian main ports, while Canadian-origin was offered at USD 720-730/MT CFR Indian main ports.
