Indonesian pineapple plantations and exporters have already allocated their capacity this 2023 for the Chinese market. The Chinese market is predicted to take up most of the plantation capacity and has started negotiating orders for delivery schedules until the end of 2023. After extensive negotiations since 2016, the Chinese government confirmed the quarantine protocol agreement at the end of 2022, and Indonesian pineapples have begun to enter the Chinese market.
