International cashew nut buyers and suppliers are currently positioning to buy and stock cashew nuts, especially in regions of Kogi and Ogbomosho. The Kogi state of Nigeria has the highest concentration of cashew production and accounts for more than half of the country's total output. Buyers most desire the first harvest of cashews as they have the highest quality for export.
