The worst invasion of Rugulopteryx Okamurae Algae in 35 years is affecting this year's tuna season. The invasion has been described as the worst in 35 years and it is a consequence of many oil spills and global warming. Fishermen who sail the Andalusian waters this time of the year to catch Red Tuna are now complaining as the algae are breaking their nets and scaring the fish from the region. They now want the government to step in as they have already been affected by coronavirus restrictions and lower demand.
