Iran exported 60 KMT of chicken eggs in the first 6 months

Iran has exported 60 KMT of chicken eggs during the first six months of the current Iranian year, the period from March 20 to September 21.
Last year the country's egg production stood at 1.1 million tons while exports were at 41 KMT and the domestic consumption is at around 200 eggs per capita per year.
For the current year, the export estimation is to have over 80 KMT exported to target countries.
The main export destinations for the Iranian eggs were Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Qatar.
