Iran's red meat production output has increased in the sixth month of the Iranian fiscal year. The production output stands around 40 KMT in the sixth month, between August 22 - September 21, demonstrating a growth of 57% compared to the same period last year. Beef and veal production was at 23,6 KMT, lamb, and mutton was at 12,9 KMT, and goat meat output was at 2,800 tons. The country is expected to have a total production output of 880 KMT of red meat and 2.7 million tons of chicken meat at the end of the current fiscal year, by March 2021.
