Iran is a large exporter of raisins with the majority being grown in the East Azerbaijan and Hamadan provinces. The primary export varieties are Sultana, Golden, Sun-dried, and Green, and are shipped to markets around the world including Canada, Europe, Kazakhstan, and the UAE.
