Irish trade with Great Britain in physical goods is estimated to be down by roughly 50% compared to the same period in 2020.
New ferry routes are carrying physical goods from Ireland to the continent to ports such as Cherbourg & Amsterdam. In addition, the new paperwork burden on traders is slowing down the movement of goods between Ireland and Great Britain.
