Coconut sugar market remains limited despite abundant supply

Due to abundant coconut tree plantations in Indonesia, it has been reported that coconut sugar availability increased. Coconut sugar is a staple commodity traded domestically, however, many new farmers-traders are joining to prepare solely for export. While this led to an abundant supply, the market is still limited.

Many traders are not certain of market demands, citing many inquiries at very low target prices. While the current supply market is considered very promising to enter, consumption from sweeteners, café/coffee shops, bakeries segments is still predicted to be slow in 2022.
