Italy's red garlic condition rather enhanced due to hurricane Apollo

Farmer has confirmed that the production of the widely known red garlic has not been affected by hurricane Apollo that hit the southern island of Sicily in the end of October. Conversely, the weather has graced the crops with even better conditions than usual and the yield for this year is expected to be high, with a total production of around 5,000 MT.
Despite high production volume, producers are concerned with exports to other countries. Producers are more willing to export but hesitate due to a lack of information of foreign markets and international trade, especially regarding export to countries outside the EU.
