In Malaysia, it is reported that raw coffee production is low which is less than 3% of domestic demand where the figure is for local purposes only. Due to that the country imports 97% of raw coffee beans which is equivalent to 97K - 100K MT/ Year. Although the pandemic has affected the country's import in general according to suppliers, coffee imports are not affected because Malaysia only imports from neighboring countries such as Indonesia and Vietnam which are relatively easy to import.
