Kenya exported 43,000MT of coffee to the value of USD 274M in 2022, up from 32,900MT valued at USD 182M in 2021. This represents an increase of 23% YoY in volume and a 51% YoY in value. Kenya earned more from coffee in 2022 due to increased shipments following a decline in global production, specifically in Brazil. As of W52, the average coffee price stands at USD 5.27/kg.
