In Kenya, due to improved mango supply from most parts of the Lower Eastern region, processors have started lowering dried mango prices due to reduced raw materials sourcing cost. In November, the factory price was USD 6.61/kg (Ksh. 800). In W49, processors are quoting factory prices of USD 5.80/kg (Ksh. 700) to USD 4.96/kg (Ksh. 600) based on the volumes ordered. Processors are sourcing raw mangoes at USD 0.08/piece (Ksh. 10). The prices are expected to reduce from late January when most mangoes will be mature, reducing demand from exporters.
