Kenyan Dried Pumpkin Prices Increased by 54% In October

Kenya's pumpkin production for the 2022/23 season has been inconsistent due to climate change, especially since most parts of the country are experiencing limited and delayed rainfall. Processors of the product have been struggling with increasing prices, which are caused by low supply. As a result, dried pumpkin prices have risen by 54% from USD 2.5/kg in March to USD 3.75/kg in October this year.
