Late harvest melon prices delight growers in Karaman, Turkey

As of 27th August 2020, Melon harvest is completed almost everywhere in Turkey except the city of Karaman. The late harvest melons are enjoying the lack of supply in the market and as a result, the wholesale price of melons is around 0.30 - 0.35 USD per kg which is more than satisfactory for growers. The retail price on the other hand is currently around 0.40 USD per kg.
