Lineaments that order the request of health certification for the export of industrialized animal origin foods

The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), Ministry of Foreign Relations (MRE), the National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA) and the Directorate-General for Environmental Health and Food Safety (DIGESA) - all of them competent authorities involved in the activities of foreign trade for the export of industrialized food of animal origin intended for human consumption - decide to order and facilitate the process for health certification industrial origin, which must meet the health requirements of the countries of destination.

Carmen Cruz Gamboa, General Director of DIGESA, presented the "Lineaments that order the request of health Certification for the Export of Industrialized Foods of Animal Origin for Human Consumption", which constitute a roadmap of the process to be followed to facilitate the issuance of health certificates approved with the health authorities of the countries of destination, for Peruvian food.

Officials from the Embassies of Brazil, Ecuador, Honduras, Costa Rica, the European Union, Colombia, Chile, the United States, Bolivia, among others, participated; as well as business groups, such as ADEX, COMEX, Sociedad Nacional de Industrias, Lima Chamber of Commerce, National Porciculture Society, among others.
