Local chilies increasingly gain attention in the Malaysia domestic market

Inconsistent imports of red chili stocks from India will benefit domestic growers. This inconsistency started in early 2020 due to pandemics making local chilies increasingly gain attention in the domestic market due to very high demand. Local suppliers hope that this can continue and give an advantage to local growers and not rely too much on imported red chilies.
