Low availability of Chilean salmon is an opportunity for Norwegian salmon in Colombia

One of the biggest salmon importers in Colombia is looking for the opportunities with salmon from Norway, even though Chile, which accounts for 96% of the market share, is the main salmon origin in Colombia. Though Norwegian salmon may have a higher price, importers are looking for the Norwegian ones in order not to be out of stock to offer their clients, as the availability of Chilean salmon is low.
