The demand for the Low Fat Desiccated Coconut (LFDC) product is starting to increase with the big manufacturers already getting orders and their production capacity booked until the end of the year. Despite the price decline of LFDC to USD1100–1200/MT this year, the price is relatively better than the price of the High Fat Desiccated Coconut (HFDC), which has reached a price drop of up to 30% at USD2200/MT and has yet to return to the price level of last year.
