Low honey harvest has driven prices upwards in Bulgaria

Honey harvest yield in Bulgaria was extremely low in 2020 due to both long-lasting droughts and untimely rains that have washed off needed nectars for honey making.
The average yield of the country is about 19 kg per beehive whereas the yield in 2020 was as low as 10 kg per beehive. The loss in production output has caused prices to move slightly upwards.
