Lower Mango Production in Peru is Expected in 2023

Field engineers of mango in Peru forecast that the mango production in Casma, the second largest producing region in Peru, will drop in 2023. The lower temperatures in 2022 affected mango development and will cause a drop in mango production in 2023. The mango season in Casma is predicted to start in W5 2023 and last until W15. The lower supply could cause a rise in Peruvian mango prices in 2023 compared to 2022.
