Due to the increase of Macadamia plantations, the crop volume is expected to double over the next two years. Large farmers report that it is already starting to be difficult to find traditional markets for shelled nuts, and are offering the product to oil producers. Thus, the availability of high-quality Macadamia nut oil will increase in South Africa in 2022.
