Main destination for Argentine commodities in the first 9 months

The soybean complex destination breakdown is as follows: for unprocessed beans, China absorbed 82% of exports in the first eight months of the year.

Regarding soybean oil, India and Egypt accounted for 55% and 7% of the shipments respectively. Finally, soybean meal displays a more diversified distribution, exporting mainly to Vietnam and Indonesia, representing 18% and 8% of foreign sales, respectively.

Wheat exports exhibit a clear winner where Brazil purchased 39% of the volume, followed by Indonesia, Bangladesh, and Thailand with a share of 23% of the total, 6 %, and 5% respectively.

Finally, for maize, Vietnam is still the main buyer representing 22% of the total volume commercialized during the first eight months of the year. It is followed by Egypt and Algeria, with 12% and 9% of the share of total exports.
