Malaysian pasteurized eggs preferred in Singapore

Singapore buyers prefer pasteurized eggs to avoid the problem of returning imports of Malaysian eggs that have lately had Salmonella Enteritidis (SE) problems. This makes egg suppliers worried that the Malaysian local market will also start to demand pasteurized eggs and at the same time will affect the sale of unpasteurized eggs.
