2020 has been a massive year for the South African citrus industry. The main citrus production region came out of a 3 year drought. Combining that with the increased demand for Vitamin C due to the global pandemic, it has been successful season.
South Africa has exported 2.5 million metric tons, which represents a year on year growth of 17%.
