MATAG coconuts give more production than other varieties

There are 2 types of hybrid coconuts that are popular in Malaysia, namely MAWA and MATAG. However, farmers prefer to grow MATAG variety. This is because MATAG coconuts produce fruit bigger than MAWA even though the contents are just as thick. Furthermore, MATAG Coconut can produce between 25 to 30 thousand fruits a year/hectare makes it more suitable forever high coconut demand.
