Millet traders in Nigeria hoarding their produce to drive prices up

The wholesale price of Nigerian millet currently is USD1.31 per kg in major North Central markets and trading hubs. Some millet traders are hoarding their produce in order to wait for a price hike in food from January 2022 as a result of the resultant removal of the subsidy of Premium Motor Spirit.
