Ministry of Trade's effort to promote Indonesian vanilla beans to potential buyers in Canada

As an effort to promote Indonesian vanilla beans to Canada, the representative of the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia in Canada is currently doing an online and offline expo in Canada to introduce Indonesian vanilla to Canadian buyers. This effort is made as a response to the potentially high demand for vanilla beans in Canada that has now reached around 20 MT/year. To support this potential business opportunity, every eligible national exporter of vanilla beans will be facilitated by the national state-owned enterprise who would be handling the shipment and documentation for exporters for exclusive trading to Canada. The expo is expected to last until the end of December 2020 and this promotion activity is expected to open up more trading channels for national vanilla exporters.
