Mississippi sweet potato entering heart of harvest

Mississippi sweet potato farmers are entering the heart of their sweet potato harvest. It appears to be an average sized harvest as some parts of the state received excess rains and other expereinced droughts. Of concern to farmers is a potential lack of labor due to COVID as sweet potato harvesting is very labor intensive.
