Red Chili crops were affected due to the recent floods in Pakistan, Kunri, which is the biggest production hub for Red Chili in Asia. At this time of the year when the harvest was ready to commence, flooding ruined around 70% of the crop.
It is expected that the quality will not be the same as last year and will be sold for a greater price in the international market due to lower yield.
