Moroccan citrus exporters asking aid from the government to cope with high freight rates

Moroccan exporters of citrus are requesting the government for aid to face the increasing high freight rates, as they are competing with Egyptian and Turkish suppliers who are already benefiting from weak currency. Depending on the destination, such assistance may take the form of a fixed amount for each container exported.
