Moroccan tomatoes banned from entering Russia

Since October 30, 2020, tomato imports to Russia from Morocco, re-exported from the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, have been suspended due to potential infection from the Pepino Mosaïc virus. However, Moroccan exporters claim this action to be disguised protectionism.
