Morocco is seeing a huge drop in milk production

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and severe drought that Morocco has not seen since 1981, milk production volume plummeted. Morocco is a country where agriculture is the biggest employer, and thus the latest drought has left Morocco in a catastrophic state. As Ramadan is at the door, the Moroccan Ministry of Agriculture has taken action to support farmers to cover the price of imported fodders. It has also allocated support to help importers of milk cows to address the problem.
