Myanmar onion price reaches the lowest in March

Since in the mid of March, the majority of logistics companies have stopped operation as all supermarkets are closed in Yangon and Mandalay. The domestic demand for onion decreases by more than 50 percent while the export market is almost canceled due to the unstable political situation. The onion local wholesale price reached MMK 350 per viss in March that is only 50% price of last January.
