Last December, there was an increase in COVID-19 cases in Muse, in the border trading city between China and Myanmar. The Chinese immigration slowed down the import of all fruits from Myanmar and only 40% of products were allowed to enter daily. In January, the exported price was half of the original price. In February, the demand from China has increased dramatically again and the price goes back to normal.
