Myanmar yellow maize harvest and production season are over in February. The majority of yellow maize harvested last December is dried and sold out in March. Thus, exporters are unable to negotiate the price with local traders for better pricing, the coming domestic price of dried yellow maize will depend on the Thailand buyer. The current domestic price is MMK 460 per viss (USD 0.21 per kg).
