Tightening Cod Supply in the Global Market

The global supply of narrow cod is tightening, and the demand gap is as high as 100,000 MT. The price may remain firm until next year. The price of narrow cod fillets in the United States is expected to remain high for a long time. At present, the price of PBO frozen fish fillets has risen to a historical high at USD 4,600/MT. The price may further rise to USD 5,000/MT in the second half of the year. Both exporters and importers believe that the overall supply is tight and the price is likely to remain strong.
