During W13, the new Argentine shrimp season commenced in National Waters. However, after a few days of fishing due to storms, vessels had to exit the zone, leaving the volumes and tides uncertain until today. This situation has led most companies to withhold offering prices to the markets. Availability of Head-On Shell-On (HOSO) shrimp is virtually non-existent due to the lack of pricing information, and all volumes from the Provincial water season have been sold out. In contrast, there is a limited stock of Headless Shell-On (HLSO) shrimp available, with prices on the rise. The last stock is being sold at the following prices for wild Argentine red shrimp (Pleoticus muelleri) from cold waters, LANDFROZEN, packed in 6x2 kilogram (kg) TAILS, HLSO, in 2kg BOX or BLOCK OF 3X7 kg:
C1 (35-55 pieces per kg) – USD 8.20 to 8.40/kg CFR
C2 (56-63 pieces per kg) – USD 7.50 to 7.80/kg CFR
