Since November 28th, 2022, a new "Dolar Soja" will take effect for agro-exporters to settle their foreign currency. The new exchange rate will be ARP 230 per USD, 39% higher than the exchange rate for the wholesale dollar in W47, which stands at ARP 165. The exchange rate will apply to soybeans and all its derivative products. Producers will receive 39% more ARP for their products. This will only have an impact on the domestic price of soybeans, but it will encourage exports and strengthen the Central Bank's reserves.
