New cold storage will open in Davao City, Philippines

A new cold storage facility will open in Southern Philippines. The new facility will further increase the volume of frozen meat importation in Davao city. The opening ceremony for the new cold storage facility is scheduled to take place on 18 March 2022. Meanwhile, Davao City has the highest import demand for chicken and pork meat. Pork comes from various countries, but among these, Spanish pork is preferred. Chicken meat mostly comes from the United States and the United Kingdom.
